Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Production Worker in Tumwater, WA for a Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM role. Starting pay is $20.00/hr with benefits after 500 hours.

Responsibilities include de-slagging parts and using grinders, sanders, and drills in a metal fabrication shop. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of production experience, fabrication shop exposure, forklift experience, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• 2 years production experience required.
• Fabrication shop experience strongly required.
• Forklift operation experience strongly preferred.
• Pass criminal background check and drug screen.
• Break press experience desired.
• CNC machining experience a plus.
• Welding experience a plus.

Job description

Express is now hiring for a Production Worker at a metal fabrication company based out of Tumwater, WA. This is an evaluation to permanent opportunity. The schedule will be Monday to Friday from 7AM to 3:30PM. The compensation for this position will start at$20.00/hr.

Job Duties:

• De-slag parts
• Using Various Power Tools- Grinders, Sanders, and Drills
• CNC machining experience a plus
• Welding experience a plus
• Have a positive attitude that can handle multiple projects simultaneously. Responsible for the careful handling of all tools and merchandise at all times.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality as required by assigned work schedule and within company standards.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to follow Written instructions and communicate
• Experience in a fabrication shop is strongly required
• Forklift operation experience is strongly
• Pass criminal background check and drug screen
• Break Press experience desired
• 2 years production experience required
