Metalcrafters NC is seeking a skilled Misc. Metal Fabricator to join our fast-paced Goldsboro production team. You will fabricate and assemble metal products such as stair systems, railings, platforms, and custom projects based on drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Prior welding and metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic shop math accurately.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
• Self-driven, dependable, and motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to problem solve and adapt in a production-focused setting.
• Organized and capable of managing multiple responsibilities throughout the day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing production demands.
• Ability to maintain required certifications including First Aid, CPR, forklift, scissor lift, telehandler, combi lift, and related equipment certifications.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening (with periodic updates as required)

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble metal products using shop drawings and production specifications.
• Complete fabrication tasks daily to support production timelines and delivery schedules.
• Read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and material layouts accurately.
• Safely operate and maintain fabrication equipment and shop tools.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and aligned with shop safety standards.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality control expectations.
• Utilize the Metalcrafters app for job tracking, production accountability, and workflow updates.
• Complete required paperwork, production logs, and reporting documentation.
• Help achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, organization, and safety practices.
