Job Description

Read blueprints and drawings, and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures. Must be responsible, a team player, and well organized.

Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on job requirements.

Coordinate the flow of work by using the appropriate machinery.

Be able to operate all sheet metal equipment such as break, shear, iron workers, drill press, and lathe machines.

Make fixtures for the job and keep the equipment clean and ready for the next project.

Check the fabrication station to ensure quality control of the product being fabricated. Assist with all production-related questions.
