Job Description and Skills Needed:

• Glass Bead or Sandblasting of stainless steel
• Ability to use manual lathe, metal band saws, metal roll, mills, grinding, and hand polishing tools
• Background in the metal industry
• Ability to interpret shop weld and fabrication drawings
• Highly motivated, self-starter, capable of working independently as well as in a team setting
• Able to work independently with little supervision
• This job requires you to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• High focus on safety and the ability to learn and follow LACO’s safety standards
• Dependable and punctual

Requirements

Education/Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• TIG welding & MIG welding experience a plus
• 1-2 years of shop experience

Job Details:

• 5 days/week, Monday through Friday, Full-Time. Day shift with flexible start times between 6:00 and 8:00 a.m.
• Hourly rate: $19.00-$21.00 depending on experience
