Job summary

Fusion Sign and Design is seeking a detail-oriented shop worker to read and interpret work orders, fabrication drawings, and construction plans. The role requires accurate measuring, cutting, and safe operation of shop tools in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should be self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed in a busy sign fabrication shop.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand work order, fabrication drawings and blueprints
• Reading construction plans and specifications.
• Ability to listen well, follow instructions carefully and communicate effectively
• Accurate and detail-oriented, with good mathematical skills
• Ability to work with shop tools and machines safely and effectively
• Self-motivated, able to work consistently and productively under minimal supervision
• Ability to work full-time plus overtime as necessary, work in a shop environment with noise where you have to bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry material that may be fifty (50) pounds or more.
• The position would require that the individual will be standing for long periods of time.
• Can work under pressure and time deadlines
