Wastequip is seeking an Installer in Louisa, KY. The role involves supporting tarp system installation through cutting, burning, drilling, bolting and welding of metals to product specs. Expect to maintain clean, deburred cuts and 100% slag-free welds while working safely and wearing PPE.

The position emphasizes teamwork, quality workmanship, and adherence to 5-S practices, with responsibilities including reporting hazards and ensuring tools and work areas are properly organized.

Qualifications

• Understand task details and select proper tools and materials safely.
• Perform tarp system installation with cutting, burning, drilling, bolting and welding per specs.
• All cuts must be deburred and cleaned; welds must be slag-free and finished to quality standards.
• Maintain a safe work environment; wear PPE; stop work for non-conformance; report hazards.
• Keep work area organized using 5-S; return tools to their homes and clean area after shift.

Responsibilities

• Support tarp system installation through metal cutting, welding, and fastening.
• Maintain equipment in safe working order and lock out unsafe equipment.
• Communicate safety observations to supervision and follow corrective actions.
• Perform routine maintenance and keep work area clean and orderly.
