Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is seeking an experienced metal fabrication assistant. The role requires following detailed drawings, preserving parts, and lifting up to 50 lbs. You will record labor and maintain a clean, safe work area in a day shift.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, performing standard fabrication tasks, and ensuring conformance to specifications. Training for crane/hoist is provided and expected as part of the job duties.

Qualifications

• 6 months of metal fabrication, heavy assembly, or similar experience.
• Follow detailed verbal and written instruction while working independently.
• Attention to detail and part preservation through careful handling and movement.
• Lift 50 lbs. without assistance.

Responsibilities

• General metal fabrication techniques to specification using all tools involved.
• Interpret and work from drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Identify non-conformances during inspection of component parts and document them.
• Record accurate job labor using electronic tracking.
• Maintain clean equipment/tools and work area.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Achieve Crane/Hoist training (internal certification).
• Perform all other jobs as assigned.
