Job summary

Kinetic Personnel Group is seeking a Metal Detailer/Assembler in Covina, CA. The role involves detailing and deburring steel plates, setting up and operating manual mills and lathes, and ensuring parts meet sizes and tolerances.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, inspecting parts, and performing quality checks. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with a Monday–Friday 6am–2:30pm schedule and a pay range of $19.00–$22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of deburring and assembly techniques.
• Some knowledge of operating manual mills and lathes.
• Some knowledge of using hand held metal cutting tools.
• The ability to read blueprints and know shop math.

Responsibilities

• Detailing and deburring of steel plates and components prior to assembly operations using hand held tools.
• Setting up and operating manual mills and lathes as needed for machining operations.
• Cut, trim, file, bend and detail parts and verify sizes and tolerances for proper fit and clearance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, illustrations and specifications to determine layouts and sequences of operations.
• Install heaters in hot runner manifolds.
• Perform quality checks to ensure product meets standards.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour Work Schedule: Mondays to Fridays - 6am – 2:30pm Job description: Detailing and de-burring of steel plates and components prior to assembly operations using hand held tools Setting up and operating manual mills and lathes, as needed, to perform efficient machining operations. Cut, trim, file, bend and detail parts and verify sizes and fitting tolerances in order to ensure proper fit and clearance. Read and interpret blueprints, illustrations and specifications to determine layouts, sequences of operations or identities and relationships of parts. Installing heaters in hot runner manifolds. Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
