Job summary

AtWork Group in Florida is seeking an Industrial Painter for dayshift (6am to 2:30pm) to prepare, prime and paint metal components in an industrial setting. You will operate spray guns and related equipment, ensuring coatings meet quality standards and safety requirements.

The role requires experience with surface preparation and working with steel or aluminum, along with strict adherence to PPE and safety protocols. This is a fulltime, on-site position with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial painting or metal finishing preferred.
• Experience painting steel and aluminum strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of surface prep, primers, paints, and coatings.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare steel, aluminum and other surfaces for painting.
• Clean and degrease surfaces to remove contaminants.
• Apply primer, paint, and coatings to metal components.
• Operate spray guns and industrial painting equipment.
• Inspect for runs, overspray, or defects.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Maintain and clean spray equipment and work areas.
• Follow production schedules and quality standards.
