Job summary

Harvard Integrations is seeking an experienced painter for industrial metal buildings. You will mix and apply coatings, operate spray guns, and prepare surfaces to ensure high-quality finishes.

The role requires at least three years of painting experience, ability to read prints, and physical stamina for long shifts, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working at heights. Shifts include day and evening schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of prior industrial painting experience required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in enclosed spaces and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Immerse parts in solution or wash surfaces to remove grease, rust, scale, and dirt.
• Mask and cover surfaces not to be painted.
• Set up and operate painting equipment to coat metal products with coatings.
• Prepare metal surfaces and paints parts and interiors/exteriors of buildings.
• Mix paints, control viscosity, and determine coating thickness.
• Operate spray guns and regulate air pressure for atomization.
• Inspect colors against prints and designs.
• Train new Painters and Painter Helpers in safety and operation of equipment.
