Job summary

Valor Contracting is seeking a Construction Crew Member (General Laborer) to join our on-site team in Center, ND. You’ll read blueprints, help assemble structural steel and pre-engineered metal buildings, and operate lifts and hand tools in a safe, professional manner.

Ideal candidates have construction-site experience, can work outdoors in all weather, and are physically able to lift 50–75 pounds. Forklift experience is a bonus; reliable transportation is a must.

Qualifications

• Experience on construction job-sites is required.
• Forklift operation experience preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment required.

Responsibilities

• Erect structural steel members and decking.
• Assemble pre-engineered metal buildings and wall panels.
• Operate boom lift and extendable forklift.
• Read blueprints to determine layout, quantities and sizes of material.
