Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Able to read build sheets and blueprints.
• Follow established methods and procedures.
• Read and interpret build sheets and blueprints.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Position parts according to the unit being assembled or blueprint.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets or other fasteners using hand, air and/or power tools.
• Remove small quantities of metal to ensure close fit between parts.
• Tend machines to perform fastening operations as specified.
• Work safely and keep area clean and organized.
• Assist in instruction and training of others as requested by supervisor.
• Overtime hours may be required.
