Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. in Harvard, Massachusetts, is seeking an Engineering Technician to join the Process and Applications Engineering team.

The role is hands-on, translating part designs and process requirements into repeatable print builds while maintaining equipment readiness, process control, and thorough documentation. You will operate LPBF printers, prepare print jobs, support development and production, and assist with IQ/SAT/OQ/PQ activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in additive manufacturing or hands-on production.
• Familiarity with 3D printing concepts; LPBF a plus.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain LPBF printers for development and production.
• Prepare print jobs, including build setup and parameter selection.
• Support development by executing prints on schedule and with quality.
• Assist with IQ, SAT, OQ, PQ and document results.
• Maintain traceability through accurate build records and data.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize workflows and parameters.
• Identify and escalate issues affecting quality or machine performance.
