Job summary

ScolerTec seeks multiple Metadata & Data Catalog Specialists to implement and operate enterprise metadata management, business glossary, data catalog, and data-lineage capabilities. You will configure governance/catalog platforms to make data discoverable, understandable, trusted, and traceable.

The role focuses on defining standards, building glossaries, and enabling end-to-end lineage across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years specialized experience in metadata and data governance.
• Experience with enterprise governance and metadata management.
• Ability to map processes and document requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement metadata management, business glossary, catalog, and lineage capabilities.
• Configure and administer metadata/catalog/governance platforms.
• Define metadata standards and naming conventions.
• Build enterprise and domain business glossaries.
• Implement end-to-end lineage.
• Configure metadata ingestion, scanning, classification, tagging, and discovery.
• Automate metadata harvesting and synchronization.
• Implement ownership, stewardship, certification, and approval workflows.
• Onboard new systems into the enterprise catalog.
• Measure catalog adoption, metadata completeness, and lineage coverage.
