Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an Executive Director/VP for its Medical Science and Strategy Team - Metabolic. The role may be based in the EMEA region with travel to China or relocation considered.

You will lead strategic development, engage with senior clients, mentor teams, and drive regulatory and trial design excellence across metabolic assets. The position requires MD or equivalent with 5+ years in pharma, English and Mandarin proficiency, and the ability to operate in a matrix

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent required.
• Medical specialty certification in metabolic disorders with 5+ years' pharma industry experience.
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
• Active medical license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead input into significant RFPs, including strategy, regulatory issues and protocol considerations.
• Provide input to other PPD activities and strategic alliance development; support client governance.
• Deliver therapeutic and developmental expertise to internal teams, including training and guidance during trials.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to drive innovative initiatives and industry best practices.
