Prisma Health's Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (MBS) Coordinator helps develop the center, manages accreditation with MBSAQIP, and monitors patient safety and outcomes. The role supports policy development, staff education, and data collection to drive quality improvement across the program.

Acting as liaison between the center, MBSAQIP, and surgical staff, the coordinator attends required meetings, ensures compliance with regulatory standards, and fosters collaboration to advance bariatric

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare related field.
• Two (2) years of related experience. Bariatric Surgery experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead quality improvement initiatives and coordinate care.
• Assist MBS Director and serve as liaison with MBSAQIP.
• Attend required MBSAQIP meetings and maintain documentation.
• Develop policies and patient education materials as needed.
• Coordinate call schedules and access for departments handling bariatric patients.
