About The Role
As a Messenger Courier, you will ensure the timely and secure delivery of documents and packages, serving as the company's face by providing excellent customer service while following safety and security protocols. This role demands a reliable, detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and professionalism.

Essential Job Responsibilities

1. Pickup and deliver documents, packages, and items efficiently.
2. Operate a motor vehicle safely, complying with traffic laws, maintaining a clean driving record.
3. Verify delivery addresses and ensure correct recipient delivery.
4. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
5. Respond promptly to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and handle special requests.
6. Keep accurate delivery records, obtain signatures or proof of delivery.
7. Follow delivery routes and schedules, adjusting as needed.
8. Follow safety and security procedures, handle sensitive materials properly.
9. Perform vehicle maintenance and inspections.
10. Assist with office errands, mail sorting, or clerical tasks during low delivery periods.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
3. Previous courier or delivery experience preferred.
4. Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
6. Ability to lift packages up to a specified weight.
7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work independently.
9. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
10. Experience with GPS and route optimization software.
11. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
12. Experience with courier management software.
13. Certifications in defensive driving or customer service are a plus.
