You will prepare raw materials, monitor inventory, and assist with labeling, stamping, and traceability for 185 SKUs, all while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • MES experience or knowledge; SAP experience preferred.
  • Forklift/pallet jack operation and accurate data handling.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate MES data entry and reporting for production and inventory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provide accurate and timely support to production and inventory reporting within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for a 90,000 sq. ft. molding facility operating 68 injection molding presses producing 185 SKUs. Responsibilities include preparing raw materials for North American Molding Center (NAMc) operations with precise documentation to ensure traceability and compliance, as well as handling raw and finished materials to support manufacturing and packaging workflows. The role also involves operating within Mold Utility processes, including inspection and gauging, cleaning, maintenance support, and auxiliary equipment operation, while participating in cross-training to ensure team flexibility. The individual must maintain accurate records, and collaborate effectively with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures, and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support accurate and timely data entry and reporting in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) including the printing of labels using ShopPrint with correct information such as part numbers, descriptions, and barcodes.
  • Monitor and validate production and inventory data on molding operations including but not limited to issuance of raw material to orders, label reconciliation, and order confirmation with accurate quantities.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with reporting standards.
  • Transport raw materials and finished goods within the facility including preparing raw materials for use in NAMc molding operations.
  • Label and stage materials according to production schedules.
  • Document material usage and maintain traceability records.
  • Support manufacturing and packaging operations through timely material movement.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform tasks related to Mold Utility processes, including inspection and dimensional checks.
  • Operate auxiliary equipment as needed to support molding operations.
  • Participate in cross-training to ensure flexibility and coverage within the team.
  • Conduct training sessions on Mold Utilities within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) framework.
  • Conduct on-the-job training (OJT) of Mold Utilities to perform their role.
  • Perform periodic inventory verifications to include cycle counting.
  • Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Participate in safety training and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Report safety concerns and contribute to a safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with production, quality, and logistics teams.
  • Report operational issues and suggest process improvements.
  • Support team goals through collaboration and shared responsibilities.
  • Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
DELIVERABLES
  • Accurate daily MES entries for production and inventory data.
  • Properly labeled and staged raw materials for each production shift.
  • Verified documentation for all materials issued to the floor.
  • Timely delivery of raw materials to production lines.
  • Organized storage of raw and finished goods in designated areas.
  • Safe operation logs for material handling equipment.
  • Incident-free safety performance and participation in safety audits.
  • Documented participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Daily shift handoff and communication.
  • Documented contributions to team meetings and improvement suggestions.
  • Positive feedback from cross-functional teams on collaboration and support.
  • Proper documentation and packaging of finished goods.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED is required

Minimum Experience: 2 years manufacturing experience required in lieu of HS Diploma/GED

2 years related manufacturing experience – Preferred Mold Utility and Packaging process knowledge preferred.

MES experience or knowledge - Required SAP experience preferred
