Job summary

Abbott is seeking a technically skilled MES Associate I to support the MES system in a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on creating new MES codes for new product designs, training MES users, and collaborating with engineers and operators to ensure accurate MES data.

The position is 100% onsite in Sylmar, CA, with a 12-month duration and a 7am–4pm shift. A high school diploma and at least three years of MES experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in MES/manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data entry.
• Experience training MES users and operators.

Responsibilities

• Build and test MES codes in Excel, then release to production.
• Support backing up tooling in MES; troubleshoot MES-related issues.
• Provide MES training to engineers and operators.
• Lead MES process implementations for complex jobs with deadlines.
• Coordinate MES code releases with engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Interact with MES MSS and MES IT to prioritize code support.
• Identify and implement quality-of-life improvements for MES content.
