Job summary

Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, is seeking a Manufacturing Execution Systems Analyst to drive MES implementations across global facilities from Puerto Rico. Hybrid work in Puerto Rico is required, with collaboration across manufacturing, quality, and digital teams.

You will deploy Solumina MES, gather requirements, develop documentation, coordinate training, and provide second-level support while building integrations and custom configurations.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree.
• US Citizenship required for access to information under this program/contract.
• Basic understanding of databases, SQL and integration platforms.
• Understanding of SAP Production Master Data (BOM/Routing/Work Center/DIR).
• Working knowledge of SQL, .NET, Git or other source control framework, MVVM or MVC frameworks, XAML, SAP (ECC and/or S4), Ignition.
• Working knowledge of IDEs such as MS Visual Studio and VS Code.
• Familiarity with software development best practices on small to medium scale projects.
• Experience or familiarity with C# or Java programming languages.
• Working knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and Razor pages.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Experience in shop floor operations or MES implementations.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support Solumina MES at major manufacturing facilities worldwide.
• Gather technical and functional requirements from end users.
• Develop business process documentation for standard shop floor processes.
• Lead MES training and testing sessions with business unit customers.
• Provide second level Solumina production support to end users.
• Create system and functional documentation for Solumina gap analysis.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities with Manufacturing, Quality, and Digital teams.
• Use Solumina SDK for developing, building and testing custom configurations.
• Be available for off-hours support during planned outages.
• Create/modify XML integration messages between MES and Middleware applications.
