Job summary

Design Group, a Barry-Wehmiller Company, is seeking an experienced MES Engineer to join our Systems Integration team. You will design and implement software solutions that improve visibility, efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) for leading manufacturers.

You'll work with Ignition Perspective, Sepasoft MES, Python, SQL, and REST APIs to deliver impactful results across projects ranging from standalone applications to greenfield facilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in systems integration, SCADA, MES, or industrial software development.
• Hands-on experience developing applications using Ignition Perspective.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation and manufacturing software environments.
• Willingness to travel for project execution, commissioning, and startup activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement MES software solutions throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with clients and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers on projects and deployments.
• Travel to client facilities as needed to support implementation and startup.
