Job summary
A technology and engineering company is seeking an experienced Controls MES Engineer in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role focuses on delivering business intelligence services, BI software development, and Power BI reports. Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Competitive compensation package includes salary range from $120,000 to $170,000 annually along with excellent benefits.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in food/beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, or refinery industries.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, SSIS, and .NET.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing and maintaining MES in a manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and program Rockwell PLCs as needed for MES data.
- Maintain Power BI Report Server and Power Platform.
- Migration of SSRS and Tableau reports to Power BI.
- Develop and maintain Power BI data modeling, reports, and dashboards.
