Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $155,000.00/yr

Job Description:

This role is responsible for leading the service delivery model, including digital offerings and wealth management banking strategy, in the market. Key responsibilities encompass partnering with market leadership, facilitating daily business needs, and driving responsible growth while minimizing risks.

The Market Client Relationship Manager (MCRM) reports to the Division Client Relationship Executive (DCRE) and the Merrill Wealth Management Market Executive (ME). The MCRM manages the branch's Client Associates, Operations staff, and oversees the execution of Market Strategy Plans. They work closely with advisor teams to deliver a client service model focused on digital solutions and enterprise capabilities. The MCRM also serves as the Lead and Referral Coordinator for the market and manages expenses, supporting the development of the Elite Growth Practice roles and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the service delivery and wealth management banking strategy to foster business growth.
  • Hire, develop, and lead a team supporting Financial Advisors and client service.
  • Supervise transactions and operations, ensuring compliance and risk management.
  • Oversee client service experience and approval of new accounts.
  • Manage the branch's Client Associates and Operations Department to meet service and operational goals.
Managerial Responsibilities:

This role may include managing associates. Managers demonstrate:

  • Process & Data expertise and continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication of enterprise decisions and team strategy.
  • Risk management and control implementation.
  • People management with coaching and performance feedback.
  • Financial management of expenses and budgets.
  • Talent assessment and development.
  • Driving business outcomes through prioritization and delegation.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Ensure client service expectations are exceeded while managing risk.
  • Manage branch staff and represent Merrill to clients, prospects, and external entities.
  • Maintain broad industry knowledge and experience with Merrill products and services.
  • Coach teams on digital-first service models.
  • Identify opportunities to connect clients with enterprise services.
  • Ensure daily operations comply with regulations and policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current licenses including SIE, Series 7, Series 66 (or Series 63 & 65), Series 9 & 10 (or Series 8), Series 3, 31, as applicable.
  • At least 5+ years of professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Merrill Wealth Management preferred.
  • Client-centric, self-motivated, with regulatory and product knowledge.
  • Strong management, communication, and industry knowledge.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
