Job Description

Merrill Wealth Management provides comprehensive wealth management and investment services for individuals, companies, and institutions. Our Financial Advisors and Client Associates help clients pursue their financial goals through transparent relationships, leveraging Merrill's investment insights and Bank of America’s banking services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized financial advice and investment recommendations based on client goals.
  • Communicate solutions that meet clients' financial needs, including banking, investment, and life solutions.
  • Collaborate with financial advisor teams to promote portfolio growth and share market insights.
  • Utilize resources across the bank to benefit clients and prospects.
  • Develop and grow a book of business to meet financial targets.
  • Prioritize client requests and coordinate with internal service providers.
Advisor Development Program (ADP)

This program prepares Merrill Financial Solutions Advisors (MFSAs) to become successful, independent advisors. It involves training, mentorship, and client relationship management skills development, with opportunities for career growth within Merrill Wealth Management.

This position requires SAFE Act registration, including background checks and registration processes. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Series 7 & 66 licenses (or 63 & 65 in lieu of 66).
  • At least two years of experience in financial services or sales with goal achievement.
  • Minimum one year in the investments industry, with knowledge of investment products.
  • Self-motivated with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Effective communicator, capable of managing goals and navigating complex environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to generate leads and develop new clients.
  • Experience balancing investment management and sales.
  • Strong computer skills and multitasking ability.
  • Bachelor’s degree, CFP, CRPC, or insurance licenses are a plus.
