Position Overview:

The Associate Client Relationship Manager (ACRM) supports the firm's business objectives and contributes to profitability and revenue growth by ensuring excellent service to clients, while managing risk and exposure. The role involves proactive client experience management across the Market, serving as a training position before assuming full CRM responsibilities.

The ACRM reports directly to the Division Client Relationship Manager (DCRM) and also reports to the Merrill Wealth Management Market Executive (ME). The role involves collaboration with the Market leadership team, managing Client Associates, Service Support Staff, and overseeing operations such as Funds/Securities processing, Wire & Order, and Document Control, including review and approval of all client financial transactions. The role also involves contributing to overall client service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote client satisfaction while balancing firm risk and exposure
  • Review and approve client documents and transactions once licensed, as delegated
  • Participate in managing, training, and developing the Market's Client Associates and Support Staff
  • Gain exposure to Merrill products and services, trend analysis, risk assessment, HR, and industry knowledge
Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated, client-centric individual with ability to obtain Series 7 (SIE, 7 Top-Off), Series 66 (or Series 63 & 65), Series 9 & 10 (or Series 8), or equivalent licenses within a specified timeframe
  • SIE license preferred
  • If unlicensed, must pass the AP Reasoning Assessment
  • Strong client service and communication skills
  • 3-5 years financial services experience preferred
  • Knowledge of regulatory and corporate policies
  • Investment product knowledge (e.g., 401K, Options, Annuities, Retirement Plans, Mutual Funds, etc.)
  • Good organizational skills, with ability to plan and prioritize effectively
  • Experience managing a team of at least 10 is a plus
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
