Position Overview:

The Associate Client Relationship Manager (ACRM) supports the Firms business objectives and contributes to the Markets profitability and revenue growth by ensuring the service expectations of our clients are met and exceeded, while also balancing risk and exposure to the firm. Ultimately, the CRM serves the client, protects the firm, and grows the business by proactively managing the client experience across the Market. A training role to learn and understand the role before taking over a full CRM role.

The ACRM is a direct report to the Division Client Relationship Manager (DCRM) with dual reporting to the Merrill Wealth Management Market Executive (ME). The ACRM functions as a member of the Market leadership team. The ACRM partners with the Market Client Relationship Manager in managing the Client Associates, Service Support Staff, and the Market's Operations functions where responsibilities include Funds/Securities Receipt & Processing, Wire & Order and Document Control where the review and approval of all Client Financial transactions takes place. Additionally, the ACRM role will participate in the overall delivery and management of the client service experience for the Market.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Promote the satisfaction of client service expectations while balancing the risk and exposure for Merrill

Once licensed, review and approve client documents and transactions as delegated by the Office Management Team (OMT)

Participate in the management and training & development of the Market's Client Associates and Service Support Staff

Develop an understanding of and exposure to a variety of topics including Merrill Products & Services, trend analysis, risk assessment, Human Resources, and broad Industry Knowledge.

Key Qualifications for the role:

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, client centric individual who has or is able to obtain the following in a specified timeframe: Series 7 (SIE, 7 Top-Off) AND Series 66 (or Series 63 AND Series 65), Series 9 AND Series 10 (or Series 8) or equivalent licenses

SIE strongly preferred

If unlicensed, must pass the AP Reasoning Assessment

Strong client service and communication skills

Minimum 3 - 5 years financial services experience preferred

Knowledge of regulatory, supervisory, and corporate policies and procedures

Investment product knowledge (i.e., 401K, Options, Annuities, Tax, Retirement Plans, Money Funds, Mutual Funds, Liabilities, Margin, Trust Operations, etc.)

Good organizational skills, including the ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize tasks

Previous experience managing a team of at least 10 including the ability to monitor, influence, negotiate, supervise, and delegate a plus

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
