Meritain Pharmacy Solutions: Sales Enablement Consultant

This can be a remote opportunity for the right individual. We are open to location based on skill set

This position will support the MPS product with a focus on sales enablement and assisting in the growth of Meritain Pharmacy Solutions. The Pharmacy Sales Enablement Consultant will partner with the Pharmacy Sales team and assist throughout the prospecting and onboarding phase. While not a production based position, the Pharmacy Sales Enablement Consultant will concentrate on new business opportunities, specializing in pharmacy only sales and providing support through proposal writing, engaging in procurement processes and internal collaboration to help the organization achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

Pharmacy Sales Effectiveness:

  • Facilitate PBM related RFP (request for proposal) opportunities for new business, with a focus on enabling pharmacy sales, including pharmacy stand-alone sales.
  • Participate in pre-sales calls, email correspondence, meetings and other forums that involve/include new business/pharmacy sales opportunities.
  • Market our value proposition with awareness of trends, competitors, and dynamic shifts in the PBM marketplace.

Engagement, Partnerships and Education:

  • Participate in proactive outreach and DRIP campaigns to elevate sales partnerships and partner engagement, inclusive of external relationship development with pharmacy consultants, producing brokers and Rx vendor contacts in coordination with the pharmacy sales team.
  • Build and enrich relationships with sales, with a focus on internal partnerships in pre-identified growth markets (aligned with sales strategies).
  • Leverage enterprise assets to share and collaborate on new business opportunities for enterprise-minded growth.
  • Provide education as needed to internal teams that engage with clients directly to ensure consistency in MPS value proposition delivery.

Execution on Department and Product Strategy

  • Commit to delivery of effective measurement of business development activities and support leadership in efforts tied to communication to leadership.
  • Leverage insights gained from new business activities to provide suggestions and test themes within the marketplace during broker engagements and associated activities.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of healthcare administration, TPA, or PBM experience.
  • 2+ years of healthcare administration, TPA, or PBM proposal writing experience.
  • Able to work in high pressure situations, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines.
  • Enjoys working in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS applications (Excel and Word are critical).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of PBM experience.
  • 2+ years of PBM proposal writing experience.
  • PBM underwriting experience.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $159,120.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
