Position Overview

A dynamic and growing firm is seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Analyst to support its expanding acquisition strategy. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong audit or accounting background, as it involves key financial due diligence efforts. You will work closely with core financial documents, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations of potential acquisition targets, identifying risks, operational strengths, and weaknesses
• Perform comprehensive financial due diligence, including revenue testing, compensation and expense analysis, book of business assessments, and balance sheet reviews
• Present risk assessments and financial insights to senior management
• Analyze earnings sustainability and prepare detailed earnings quality reports

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in public accounting or Transaction Advisory Services (TAS)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex findings
