A law firm seeks an experienced Senior Associate to join its Corporate practice group in Charlotte, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in managing complex deal flow and a strong business acumen.

Duties

• Supervise junior associates and oversee due diligence workstreams.
• Prepare and negotiate ancillary documents.
• Draft and negotiate primary transaction documentation.
• Engage in significant involvement in private equity lifecycle transactions.

Requirements

• At least six years of substantive experience in M&A and private equity work.
• Strong record of managing complex deal flow.
• Ability to quickly understand and apply business concepts.

Education

• Law degree.

Certifications

• Eligibility for North Carolina Bar admission is preferred.
