Job summary

Core States Group in Tampa, FL is seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions Project Manager to support the acquisition lifecycle—from pipeline development through due diligence, closing, and integration. This hands-on role requires organizing work plans, schedules, trackers, and cross-functional collaboration with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, finance, economics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience coordinating complex, cross-functional projects.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the acquisition pipeline development and target evaluation.
• Maintain and update the acquisition pipeline, including target information, contact history, opportunity status, next steps, and follow-up dates.
• Prepare target company summaries, presentation materials, and decision-support materials for senior leadership and other internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain diligence lists, data rooms, document trackers, issue logs, decision logs, and closing checklists.
• Coordinate calendars and meetings, prepare agendas, and track action items to ensure progress.
