Job summary

HEICO Corporation is seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions Manager for an immediate full time direct hire position at our corporate headquarters in Hollywood, FL. You will serve as the Corporate Finance Department project manager for financial due diligence of acquisition targets and may prepare fair value analysis of assets and liabilities.

The role requires leading earnings quality analyses, developing long-term forecasts, and coordinating with the accounting team on closing and post-close

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university.
• Master's Degree in Accounting or CPA license is a plus.
• Minimum of five years of experience in financial accounting with working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience in manufacturing industry with exposure to cost accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate quality of earnings and pro forma analysis on acquisition target income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows.
• Conduct confirmatory testing and document review during financial due diligence of acquisition targets.
• Analyze acquisition target financial data to identify key trends and performance indicators.
• Develop 10-year financial forecast for prospective acquisition targets.
• Support the review of acquisition purchase agreements and accompanying deal agreements.
• Prepare reports discussing due diligence findings and recommendations on financial reporting.
• Interface with corporate accounting team on deal closing and transition to post-close reporting.
• Coordinate document preparation and review for the valuation of contingent consideration.
• Travel domestically and internationally, sometimes with short notice.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
