A Global 100 firm is hiring a mid-level M&A associate (2–5 years) in New York. Cravath scale — $225K–$435K depending on class year.

You'd manage assigned workstreams on public and private company deals under partner and senior associate supervision, with real drafting responsibility on governance agreements, transition services and post-closing agreements, and discrete sections of the principal transaction documents.

The work includes:

• Public and private company mergers, acquisitions, and carve-outs
• Drafting and negotiating key governance agreements, TSAs, and post-closing agreements
• Signing and closing execution — ancillary documents, opinion letters, legal memoranda
• Due diligence across credit agreements, commercial contracts, and leases, coordinating with tax, employee benefits, real estate, and IP

What you bring:

• 2+ years of corporate M&A experience at a comparable firm
• Reps drafting and revising ancillary transaction documents
• Comfort negotiating directly with counterparty counsel in a live deal
• JD or LLM; New York bar admission
