Mercy South Float Pool is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide patient care across multiple units, including Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, ICU, and Emergency Department.

The role offers variety, continuous learning, and opportunities to grow within Mercy Health System.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bedside RN experience.
• Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred).
• Current RN license in the state.
• BLS through the American Heart Association.

Responsabilités

• Float across units including Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, ICU, Emergency Department, and more.
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Maintain patients' rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Adhere to Mercy policies and nursing practice guidelines.

Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patients care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patients' rights and confidentiality of patient information. Full-Time Sign-On Bonus: $20,000

We offer flexible sign-on bonus options to fit your needs:

• Flexible, No-Contract Option: Bonus paid in four equal installments at 6, 12, 18, and 24 months.
• Upfront Payment Option: Receive 50% at start and the remaining 50% at 6 months with a 2-year commitment.

Competitive Pay with Tiered Differentials:

• Tier 3 (Med/Surg): +$5.00/hr
• Tier 2 (Stepdown): +$7.50/hr
• Tier 1 (ICU): +$10.00/hr

Additional Shift Differentials:

• Evening: +$2.75/hr
• Night: +$4.60/hr
• Weekend: +$1.50/hr

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1–2 years of bedside RN experience
• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred)
• License: Current RN license in the state
• Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association
• Physical requirements/demands:
  • Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Prolonged standing and walking each shift
  • Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
