Mercy South Float Pool is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse to support Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, ED, and more across multiple units. The role emphasizes variety, continuous learning, and patient-centered care within Mercy's nursing model.

The position offers a full-time sign-on bonus of $20,000 with flexible payout options, plus tiered shift differentials and day-one benefits. Eligibility includes 1–2 years RN experience and an MO RN license with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–2 years of bedside RN experience.
• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred).
• License: Current RN license in the state.
• Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association.
• Physical requirements: push/pull 50 lbs; prolonged standing and walking; flexibility to reach, bend, kneel, twist.

Coordinates the patients care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patients' rights and confidentiality of patient information. Full-Time Sign-On Bonus: $20,000

We offer flexible sign-on bonus options to fit your needs:

• Flexible, No-Contract Option: Bonus paid in four equal installments at 6, 12, 18, and 24 months.
• Upfront Payment Option: Receive 50% at start and the remaining 50% at 6 months with a 2-year commitment.

Competitive Pay with Tiered Differentials:

• Tier 3 (Med/Surg): +$5.00/hr
• Tier 2 (Stepdown): +$7.50/hr
• Tier 1 (ICU): +$10.00/hr

Additional Shift Differentials:

• Evening: +$2.00/hr
• Night: +$2.50/hr
• Weekend: +$1.50/hr

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1–2 years of bedside RN experience
• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred)
• License: Current RN license in the state
• Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association
• Physical requirements/demands:
  • Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Prolonged standing and walking each shift
  • Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
