Job summary

Mercy Springfield is offering a Nursing Earn as You Learn (EAYL) program for senior nursing students (LPN/RN). A $2,000 (taxed) stipend is provided for completing the senior practicum at a Mercy hospital, with structured support from Mercy leadership, supervisors, clinicians, and nurse managers.

Participants are encouraged to commit to a bedside nursing position post-graduation, with a six‑month post‑grad commitment on the same unit if possible.

Mercy Nursing Earn as You Learn Program - Spring 2027

Mercy Springfield

Mercy's EAYL program provides LPN/RN senior level Nursing students the opportunity to receive a $2,000 (taxed) stipend for the completion of their senior practicum (last semester) at a Mercy hospital.

Students will receive structured support throughout your senior practicum with various members of Mercy leadership, including supervisors, clinicians, and nurse managers

• To participate, student must commit to a bedside nursing position post graduation- it is encouraged that this is on the unit you are completing senior preceptor hours on. Commitment time after graduation is 6 months.

You will need to submit 2 letters of recommendation.
