Brunswick is seeking a Credit Intern for Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac, WI. You will support credit and collections, learn credit assessment, and work with AI-powered analytics and BI tools to improve processes.

This internship offers hands-on learning, exposure to dashboards, and opportunities to contribute to ongoing projects within the Credit function during the May–August 2027 timeframe.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Related Field.
  • Minimum second semester sophomore status with 48 completed credits.
  • Availability to work full-time (40+ hours) during May through August of 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily worklist activities in our collection software, including recording notes and documenting important customer interactions.
  • Learn to analyze customer financial information and understand how credit lines are established and reviewed.
  • Gain exposure to AI-powered analytics and automation tools that support credit risk assessment, collections prioritization, forecasting, and workflow efficiencies.
  • Utilize Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools to help create/monitor dashboards, analyze collection performance, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Participate in special projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and digital transformation efforts focused on process optimization and data visualization.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management by consolidating and analyzing customer, credit, and collection data.
  • Develop an understanding of how emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and business intelligence platforms, are transforming the credit and finance function.
