Wonder, a mealtime platform, is offering a Merchant Intern role in New Jersey. You will gain hands-on experience in procurement, supplier relationship management, and category analysis within a fast-paced food-tech environment.

You’ll support supplier evaluation, cost analysis, and sustainability initiatives while learning to balance quality, cost, and operational efficiency across the sourcing function.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Food Science, Business).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; SQL/Tableau a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new suppliers for produce, proteins, dairy, and specialty ingredients.
• Support data collection and analysis for cost modeling, supplier performance, and market trends.
• Participate in RFP processes and vendor onboarding.
• Monitor supplier compliance with food safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
• Conduct benchmarking on commodity pricing and sourcing strategies.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Supply Chain, and Operations teams on sourcing decisions.
• Prepare presentations and reports with findings and recommendations for leadership.
