Overview

Join to apply for the Merchant Payment Services Sales Consultant role at U.S. Bank. Elavon is a wholly owned subsidiary of U.S. Bank that provides tailored payment solutions. This remote role requires 50-100% travel within local markets including Columbus, Mansfield, and up to Bucyrus areas.

Responsibilities
  • Develop profitable, new business account relationships through merchant services.
  • Create increased profitability from existing accounts.
  • Identify business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services.
  • Make sales presentations to existing and prospective clients, informing them of benefits of the organization’s products and services.
  • Implement and maintain an effective referral network and call program to promote sales.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Two to three years of relevant sales experience
  • Ability to travel
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Basic knowledge of product marketing, client service issues and organization operations
  • Strong marketing, business development/sales and negotiating skills
  • Ability to creatively resolve client concerns and issues
  • Basic problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Multilingual is a plus
Salary and Benefits

The salary range listed below is inclusive of the business line incentive and commission plan, targeting overall compensation. Pay Range: $60,435.00 - $71,100.00. In addition to salary, benefits include health care, life insurance, disability, parental leave, 401(k), paid vacation, paid holidays, adoption assistance, and sick leave accruals. Some benefits may vary by role, location, or hours.
