Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Niskayuna, NY. You will support the Store Manager in leading a team, focusing on merchandising, freight processing, and efficient store operations to create positive experiences for customers and communities.

The role involves daily store duties, asset protection, safety compliance, and helping plan and execute monthly sales initiatives. A strong ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, etc.).
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain store cleanliness and presentable conditions.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Assist Store Manager with additional duties as assigned.
