Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Bolivar, Tennessee. You will support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team, focusing on merchandising and processing freight to deliver value and positive experiences for communities served.

You will assist with daily store operations, maintain store areas to company standards, and ensure safety and asset protection while upholding professional interactions with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
