Job summary

At Home Stores LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager – Merchandising to support store leadership in driving sales and in-stock conditions within a large-format retail environment. You will lead the Zone Lead team, guide merchandising transitions, and uphold store standards to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The role emphasizes coaching, talent development, and cross-functional collaboration while maintaining safety and operational controls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership in big-box/high-volume retail.
• Experience leading 20+ Team Members and $5M+ revenue or budget.
• Knowledge of freight, inventory control, stocking, and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Drive store operations to meet sales, profit, and performance goals.
• Hire and develop talent; build internal bench strength and succession plans.
• Coach and develop team to improve performance and career growth.
• Manage staffing to labor model, scheduling, and payroll accuracy.
• Plan and oversee merchandising transitions, resets, and visual standards.
• Maintain organized signage and fixture storage.
• Lead customer satisfaction, inventory control, loss prevention, safety, and store effectiveness.
• Address Team Member and customer concerns with urgency and integrity.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment aligned with company values.
• Lead team communications through regular huddles and meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
