Job summary

Kontoor Brands, Inc. is seeking a merchandising assistant to support line development and execution across multiple teams.

You will help collect/style information, generate line sheets, and coordinate ticketing with design, sales, tech services, planning, and customer service while maintaining the line room and samples. The role requires 2–4 years of related experience, a high school diploma (degree preferred), and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting and organizing information by style/color for production of all styles.
• Generate line sheets for Lee Merchandising, Merchandising Services, and Production Planning during development, sell‑in, and production.
• Communicate style-level information to Design, Sales, Tech Services, Planning, and Customer Service as needed.
• Lead the communication and development of ticketing, coordinating with brand and key parties to execute final tickets on spec and on time.
• Maintain the line room, including tracking multiple sample lines.
• Interface with key sales personnel on behalf of the merchandiser—answer questions, prepare document listings, assemble special packages, and field sales suggestions.
• Attend specified sales functions and occasional account sell‑in meetings.
• Deliver product line presentations in the merchandiser’s absence as required.
• Order product samples for sales meetings, presentations, and fashion shows.
• Coordinate style selections with the merchandiser.
• Facilitate special projects and travel regularly between Kontoor Greensboro locations.

Experience & Education

• 2–4 years of related professional experience.
• High School Diploma required; preference for a 2‑year or 4‑year degree in Consumer Apparel and Retail Studies, Business Management, or Merchandising; or equivalent business experience.
