The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to complete various tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member interacts with customers and team members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

As a FAST Team Member, you should be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented. You will be expected to:

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
• Communicate proactively with your District FAST Supervisor about work progress and issues.
• Complete planograms and resets accurately and timely.
• Perform store measurements and cycle counts.
• Complete the Tractor Way top cap process and hang signage.
• Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
• Review planogram integrity and recover store areas.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service following GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Add value.
• Ensure a memorable shopping experience that stands out from competitors.
• Provide peak coverage during special events or busy periods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Prior retail or merchandising experience required. Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; reading, writing, and counting skills are essential.

Preferred skills and abilities

• Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ethical conflict resolution.
• Self-directed with minimal assistance needed.

Working Conditions

• Mostly indoor with moderate noise; outdoor lots are hard surfaces.
• Shifts typically range from 4 to over 8 hours, varying by store.
• Travel between stores using personal vehicle, often for extended periods.
• Maintain safety standards and adhere to guidelines.

Physical Requirements

• Travel as needed within the district.
• Push/pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with equipment.
• Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
• Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, climb ladders, and move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Operate store equipment and communicate effectively.
• Handle birds/poultry safely.
• Complete all training requirements.
