Overall Job Summary

The High Volume FAST Team Member is responsible for working as part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST), primarily in a single store, to own and execute "start to finish" tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes, and physical inventories. They also support tasks like merchandise and fixture assembly and signage maintenance. The role involves interacting with customers and team members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday, unless otherwise needed.
  • Proactively communicate with the District FAST Supervisor about work progress and issues.
  • Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
  • Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store measurements.
  • Conduct inventory counts and cycle counts accurately.
  • Complete price changes and hang signage such as Circulars, Price Cuts, and Specials.
  • Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
  • Review planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery.
  • Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover Needs, Recommend Solutions, Add Value & Appreciate.
  • Ensure a distinguished shopping experience for customers.
  • Provide coverage as needed (e.g., DAT).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred.
  • Must be 18 or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.
  • Self-directed with minimal assistance needed.
Working Conditions
  • Indoor and outdoor environments with moderate noise.
  • Hard surfaces like concrete and asphalt.
  • Shifts generally last at least 4 hours, possibly exceeding 8 hours.
  • Adherence to safety guidelines is mandatory.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to move and transfer merchandise up to 50 pounds.
  • Push and pull merchandise weighing up to 2,000 pounds with equipment.
  • Lifting overhead, standing, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to handle contact with birds/poultry.
  • Complete required training successfully.
