Overall Job Summary

The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute “start to finish” tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members, delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
• Communicate proactively with District FAST Supervisor on work progress and issues.
• Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
• Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store-specific measurements.
• Perform accurate cycle counts and complete Tractor Way top cap process.
• Hang store signage and assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
• Review planogram integrity and deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, Add value & Appreciate.
• Ensure a distinguished shopping experience.
• Provide peak coverage as needed, including special occasions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Prior retail or merchandising experience is required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge (strongly preferred).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Interpersonal skills and conflict resolution abilities.
• Self-directed with the ability to complete assignments independently.

Working Conditions

• Mostly indoor work with moderate noise.
• Shifts generally range from 4 to over 8 hours, varying by store.
• Travel between store locations using personal vehicle, often long distances.
• Adherence to safety guidelines and a safe work environment.
• Work on hard surfaces, with adequate lighting and temperature.

Physical Requirements

• Travel as needed.
• Push/pull up to 2,000 pounds with equipment.
• Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
• Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, and climb ladders frequently.
• Operate store equipment and handle merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Operate vehicle safely.
• Complete all required training.
• This is a non-sedentary position requiring stamina and mobility.
