HomeGoods at The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking team members to execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring associates process efficiently while delivering an excellent customer experience in Bakersfield.

You’ll train associates, organize backstock, and uphold safety and store policies in a fast-paced retail environment. Starting pay ranges from $17.90 to $18.40 per hour, with opportunities for growth.

• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Executes receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing.
• Engages with customers to provide an excellent store experience.
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensures merchandise is tagged, hung, secured and coded.
• Maintains backroom organization and cleanliness.
