Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Richmond, IN seeks a flexible Retail Associate to execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensure efficiency, and deliver an excellent customer experience.

You’ll help keep the store organized and safe while interacting with customers and team members. Responsibilities include training associates, tagging and stocking merchandise, and coordinating with management to maintain flow of goods and meet store goals.

Qualifications

• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Communicates with management to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
