The role focuses on expanding carrier networks, managing orders, and ensuring on-time, cost-efficient transportation operations. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in business or related field and 3+ years in carrier/traffic management or freight scheduling.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply-chain logistics, transportation, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in carrier or traffic management, freight scheduling or brokerage operations.
• Strong time management, problem solving, analytic decision making, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of claims administration and LTL consolidations is a plus.

Mansioni

• Expand carrier base and maintain strong relationships with all contracted carriers.
• Manage customer pick-up purchase orders, identify LTL conversion opportunities, tender loads to carriers, and track shipments.
• Coordinate activities between suppliers, carriers, Corporate Merchandising and McLane divisions to minimize service failures and meet service levels.
• Gain proficiency in traffic management systems to maximize software utilization and carrier interface compliance.
• Evaluate processes and interfaces to implement stop-gap measures for continuous improvements.
• Develop training material for internal stakeholders to improve awareness of inbound initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
