Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to assist the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and driving merchandising and freight processing.

You will support daily store operations, stock management, and safety policy adherence while delivering a positive, high-energy customer experience. This role emphasizes hands-on supervision, teamwork, and a commitment to executing company standards across the sales floor and stockroom.

Qualifications

• Prior retail management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Process the receipt and return of DSD merchandise.
• Manage freight flow in accordance with productivity standards.
• Order and stock merchandise needs, including frozen & refrigerated.
• Ensure that the sales floor is sales-effective.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Plan merchandise and implement monthly Sales Planners.
