Job summary

Michaels in Asheville, NC is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution across truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards.

You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotional execution, and a customer-ready store environment through strong workload planning and stock management, while coaching the team to consistently meet standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience with merchandising and store operations.
• Ability to train and coach team members.
• Ability to manage inventory and pricing accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards, maintaining store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and uphold floor leadership.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to the floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute and maintain Store-In-Stock Optimization routines for in-stock accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
